This is a follow-up to my previous post.
In the comments to that post, John Wilder commented "Owen is an idiot", meaning Owen Benjamin, who I referred to in the post. I agreed with John and would have left it there until I–just now on a YouTube video–saw Owen offer a flat earth statement so deliciously stupid I had to pass it on.
It comes from one of my favorite YouTubers, SciManDan. He regularly skewers flat earth "theory", fundamentalist arguments, and other nutty ideas each week. I just started watching him and have been going back to earlier videos, catching up. That's how I came across this video of Dan commenting on an Owen Benjamin/David Weiss interview (David Weiss is a flat earther with a large following).
It's worth watching the whole thing, if you've got eighteen minutes to kill.
But if you don't have the time, the astounding question comes toward the end (around the 15:09 mark) when Owen Benjamin, prone to utter the most inane stream-of-consciousness drivel dumber than a two-year old just learning to talk, asks if the iCloud is an actual cloud.
Yes, Owen Benjamin wonders if digital storage, in what is commonly referred to as "the cloud" is an actual cloud.
Can flat earth get any dumber? I would not bet against it.
