The Bungalow Craftworks catalog was a team effort. I was laid up with a knee injury, so my intern at the time, Emily Bishop, was tasked with the awesome responsibility of shooting photography and working on production for this catalog. Stoned on pain medications, I acted as art director, making sure she met our standards of quality. Emily did a great job on this.
A note on interns: I’m a strong believer in giving interns as much real work as they can handle. My goal is that any SIGMA intern finishes with at least 1 printed piece he/she designed and produced (usually they have more). SIGMA interns are paid and by the end of their time here generally have a solid grounding in production techniques and some portfolio pieces that help them land a real job.
