My apologies for the radio silence here at COF. I'm approaching the end of my busiest time of the year, which is nice. It's a long, busy span of time from October - April for me as I work on the various projects for Bloomsday, my biggest client.

But this year, as the end of the annual Bloomsday projects drew near, I began to panic.

"What's next?" I asked, looking out one night into the vast, empty sky.

And the sky answered back with a big, fat nothing.

So I gave it some thought, and came up with a brilliant idea to keep me busy and generate more off-season income, and that's what I'm working on right now. I'm working feverishly on building a web site, creating a marketing plan (of sorts), and finishing the necessary publications to make this idea a success.

I'm nearing completion and getting ready to launch my new side business (should be done in a couple days). When I do launch, you can bet I'll place a notice here.

Thanks for sticking with me, Imaginary Reader In My Head (and John).

Steve Merryman is a cranky old fart. He writes about things that make him tick, and things that tick him off. You may object to his views; you may think he's a moron; and you might wish to tell him so. In return he would remind you that his lack of concern for your feelings is only exceeded by his indifference to your opinions. Good day, Sir!
